I'm autistic and dyslexic, but I probably have other stuff (like dyspraxia.) I also have speech problems. I play soccer and do karate, and I'm gonna start occupational therapy soon. Activities like dance, karate, and sports help SO MUCH with dyspraxia stuff in autism and just dyspraxia. You are helping your children by putting them in activities like this.

I have dyspraxia, one of the things that has helped me most has been learning how to crochet which I have been doing for a couple years. It has done wonders for my dexterity especially with learning to play guitar

Awww I’m so glad she got an early diagnosis I got mine when I was in year seven as long with my dyslexia diagnosis, when I was in primary school the said I couldn’t be dyslexic because I had a reading age of 16.2 at 8 years old and I couldn’t be dyspraxic because I do gymnastics, track and was on en point at 9 in my ballet

Speaking from personal experience the dance will help I have dyspraxia and I have been in dance since I was three because my mum wanted me to have good posture also I was obsessed with becoming a prima ballerina so now I’m 12 going on 13 and my dyspraxia is less noticeable I still bump into things a lot but I can walk decently and my can jump and run and do a hole lot of stuff that used to be very hard so keep her in it and she will most likely improve 🙃

My mom has put me in yoga classes when I was in kindergarten and the teacher had me all the class trying to put a wooden worm on a wooden apple. (I has autism like now but I was not diagnosed yet)

I have dispraxia. I was also diagnosed with hEDS as a teen. I’ve never been able to move like others, but with lots of hard work I can do stuff like colorguard and theater.

Dance and Taekwondo helped my dyspraxia a lot! Still a little clumsy, but not injury prone anymore 😅

I have dyspraxia that wasn't diagnosed until I was 24. I struggled through school and all the normal things the other girls did like ballet because I couldn't pick up the dance moves and my coordination was bad. I am now trying to learn ballet as an adult. It is so hard and very embarassing because I just can't remember the simplest steps, no matter how many times I practise. I'm going to keep going though. I wish my parents had known to help me like this when I was a child, it would have made so much difference.

I have dyspraxia as well, I can't use scissors well and I have a few others things that are so difficult for me. Has your daughter experienced excess fidgeting as well? I'm a teenager and I fidget a lot more than others (I am on the list for an adhd diagnosis though) - I researched it and apparently that's a sign of dyspraxia? Love your videos :)
