Explanations of every joke because someone asked:

Bergen County is known for being extremely wealthy and all ten towns with the highest concentration of Korean-Americans in the US are located there.

Middlesex County has the highest concentration of Indian-Americans in the US, and is also home to Rutgers University.

Essex County's largest city, Newark, has a police department that has been involved in numerous excessive use of force and racial bias controversies.

Hudson County is home to Union City, which has the highest concentration of Cuban-Americans in the US, as well as a substantial Puerto Rican population.

Ocean County is home to the town of Toms River, which has the largest Italian-American population in New Jersey and is also kinda stereotyped as being a trailer park white trash town. Additionally, the town of Lakewood has a massive Orthodox Jewish population, and there are growing tensions in Ocean County over the controversial buying up of houses in neighboring towns by Lakewood landlords (please don't use this as an excuse to be antisemitic I'm Jewish lol). The whole area also got partially wiped off the map by Hurricane Sandy.

Monmouth County is probably best known for its beach towns, which attract teenagers and old geezers alike. You will also get beaten to death there if you say anything bad about Bruce Springsteen.

Union County has a sizeable Italian-American population, and is consequently associated with the mob (if I'm not mistaken I believe it's the setting of the Sopranos).

Camden County's eponymous city, Camden, has repeatedly been ranked as one of the most dangerous cities in the US. It's honestly a depressing caricature of an impoverished inner city, although it's gotten better in recent years.

Passaic County's largest city, Paterson, has the largest concentration of Palestinian-Americans in the US, leading to South Paterson being nicknamed Little Ramallah. South Paterson is also known as Little Istanbul due to its growing Turkish-American population.

Morris County was the site of multiple crucial events in the American Revolutionary War, and was the site of the Continental Army's winter camp after the Battle of Trenton and Battle of Princeton.

Burlington County borders the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and consequently has a ton of Philly sports fans. It is also part of the Pine Barrens, a massive forest where the Jersey Devil is believed to reside according to New Jersey folklore.

Mercer County (my county) is home to Princeton University, one of the most prestigious colleges in the US that also attracts thousands of Chinese international students.

Somerset County is home to the town of Bedminster, where Trump National Golf Club is located. It also has the largest concentration of Paraguayan-Americans in the US.

Gloucester County is home to the town of Glassboro, where the Glassboro Summit Conference took place in 1967 between US president Lyndon B. Johnson and Soviet premier Alexei Kosygin.

Atlantic County's eponymous city, Atlantic City, is famous for its casinos and kitschy tourist appeal (it actually sucks to live there).

Cumberland County has nothing.

Sussex County was formerly home to Action Park, an amusement park that was notoriously unregulated and a hotbed for grievous injuries and even six deaths.

Hunterdon County is home to the town of Lambertville, which is just across the Delaware River from New Hope, Pennsylvania. Both towns, which are a short bridge walk away from each other, are known for their LGBT scene. It is also teeming with annoying bikers during the warmer months.

Warren County is in the middle of nowhere so everyone treats it like a backwoods white supremacist den.

Cape May County's eponymous city, Cape May, is a famous seaside resort city that primarily attracts retirees who are old enough to remember its glory days.

Salem County is home to the Salem Nuclear Power Plant, so there are probably irradiated mutants chilling there.

Jersey might be a small state, but it's crazy how drastically different certain sections of the state are from each other

I remember driving from north jersey to south jersey to meet up with a woman. It was like driving from New York City to Alabama in 2 hours. NJ is the only state where it feels like you are visiting every part of the US without leaving.

As a New Jerseyan, I can confirm every stereotype is 1000% true

As someone who has lived in NJ their whole life, I can attest to the accuracy of this. Bonus: Basically every town has a site in a park where George Washings supposedly camped with his army.

It's like New Jersey is small version of United States.

I was wondering which county would get the Italian stereotype. It could go to any county in the state.

The Monmouth county photo is in asbury park. My uncle lives in a townhouse there. I can literally see his house in this photo. Good memories

I started dying when the "Stronger than the storm" song came on. Haven't heard that song in 10 years, goddam.
