Hello again. I have tried these and " DIY rocket stoves" before for heating water for coffee to eggs. yeah for sure these are for outdoor/emergency use. Those other items like sleeping bags and such are just as important to keep warm with IMHO. take CaRe and all the best to you and the family from CR.
