I’ve gone through some of these comments and…….. I believe he meant this to be helpful in the SUN only. I would hope that if it is raining that if you chose to use it on the outside to just go remove it. And if someone is that hard u to steal a sunshade then they probably need it more than me. My opinion…. Great advice!!!

People complaining about stealing are hilarious, what kind of bum steals sunshades, and even if you do get it stolen what kind of bum do you have to be to not be able to replace a cheap 6 dollars sunshade.

I have stuff like dashcam & phone holder attached to the inside of the windscreen so this might be the best solution I’ve seen. Feel so stupid for not even thinking outside the windshield!

At my job i just used endless leftover cardboard to put over my windshield to keep my car cool.

They sell shield ment for exterior. Winter and summer. They work great

The reason why using the sunshade on outside of the car keeps car way cooler than if it were inside is simply because the suns rays are blasting the sunshade and not directly blasting the windscreen. If you put the sunshade on the inside yes it kinda cools down but then your windscreen will be Whereas if you put the shade on the outside when you touch the windscreen after taking it off, it's cool and not even warm.

Normally I just use an ugly blanket, and it's never got stolen 😂

Thanks for the tip! I use mine on private property while I'm working, so I'm not worried about someone stealing it. Read some of the comments. People can be so negative, don't listen to the haters ✌️😊

When you’re in the car and need it, it’s a good idea. But I agree with the rest of the comments it’s not very safe to leave overnight, but, who’s leaving it overnight when there’s no sun?

even better, use "chrome" spray paint and cover your entire windshield! works so well, you won't even see straight

Im gonna give this a try. My sunshade wont stay up in the window no matter what, so this seems perfect.
