Glad to see the dual monitor thing. As a person who cannot live without having 3 monitors in my face for my work flow, I love that someone is trying to make this idea more accessible to people. Trust me; anyone reading this who only uses 1 monitor, imagine being able to drag some of the windows off the screen to another screen. You'll have more room to maximize windows and work on multiple things. You wont be able to go back to just 1. Having to go back to 1 screen would feel like a gamer who is used to a powerful computer, suddenly trying to read his email on a troaster, or a big man trying to live in a tiny house. lol

A couple things: 1. Duet Display has been offering this for years. 2. The iPad has different color profile and contrast; be careful when using it as a second monitor for color grading.

You missed the Apple Pencil advantage in turning the iPad into a drawing tablet. It is wonderful for using brushes in Lightroom and its opacity is even pressure sensitive.

Yes please Matti, I have been on the fence about buying a new iPad Pro for a while now. I have had two in the past and sold them as they were not where I thought they would be at the time, but now they seem to be that bit closer

Sweet video Matti! Your videos are getting smoother as well, seems like you're writing out more of a script these days and then creating the video. Whatever it is, the videos seem more refined and quality is definitely upping.

I got iPad (not a pro but 2019 basic one) just because of the side car feature. I got it a week ago and it with addition of apple pen are my favourite things! visual notes, editing.. perfect! And with Catalina it was so nice to do face edits in photoshop.

Been using Duet for a while, and I love the setup. It really is a great way to take a more functional workspace on the road.

That Sidecar feature has been available for years through an independent app called Duet. It only works with a cable, but works really well. And if, like me, you have a laptop that is too old to update to Catalina, you can use your iPad, even back to 2nd generation, which I have (if it ain't broke...). Of course, at home I have a 27" monitor attached to my MacBook Pro, but on the road the old iPad and Duet work just fine.

Thanks for the video! I wish someone would made a video of why some of the OLDEST Mac OS functions that are shadowed away are what makes Mac OS something actually really special.



Automator, holy crap, I can't believe how useful and incredible it is that it is INCLUDED in the OS. Smart Folders in Finder. Built in video cutting/editing and screen recording without even having to use Quicktime which also has tons of hidden awesome converting end editing functions. Man, the list goes on and it doesn't often get touched.

I would really appreciate a video about the new Ipad because as a freelance photographer I‘m actually thinking about getting one to use it for lightroom and so on, but in all the videos I‘ve watched so far I can’t really figure out where my photos will be stored when using Lightroom CC instead of Lightroom classic .... as a professional I really want to know where I can find my RAW files. Can you help me withthis issue... would love to see a video about your workflow on it ☝🏻😌

I would be very interested in getting your take on editing on the iPad Pro. From what I've watched so far on YouTube, it may actually be better (faster) than using the Macbook Pro to do it. I think they were using Lumafusion if I recall correctly. But Adobe is on there too.
