macOS Catalina Features You Might Not Know

macOS Catalina, the newest version of the software that runs on the Mac, is set to come out in just a few weeks. macOS updates don't often receive as much attention as iOS updates, so there are some macOS Catalina features that may have gone under the radar.

We've covered major new additions in macOS Catalina in beta posts and our roundup, but we thought it would be worth highlighting some of the smaller changes and tweaks that are worth knowing about.

I'm a Mac/Apple customer going on 27 years. My latest investment was a 2019 21.5" 4K iMac. And I've made a game of figuring out how many iterations backwards I could go and not lose functionality or productivity. Because I am, in many ways, barely using the Mac OS X+ arsenal of bits and bobs.

That sign on iPad feature is awesome! I have full access to my trackpad, but signing with my Apple Pencil is SO much better.

Also You will be able to fill in password with you apple watch instead of touch id, very good feature if your using an Desktop mac or using a macbook pro in clamshell mode.

This is a major shift life changing even when you've spent time and money to get your device Apped up and become a necessary tool like a ladder, screwdriver, or hammer even only to know now apple wants you to be a subscription number.
they've made obsolete apps that cost hundreds of dollars with this update.

I’m still on 10.12. Features are enticing, but I have been wary to upgrade since because everything just works. Will upgrade when I plan to buy a new Mac in 2021.
