Hi from Germany, I am gardening behind our own house the last years. Since this year we also grow more veggies on another garden from my parents in law, so that we will harvest on two gardens our own veggies and fruits from may until the winter. We eat it fresh and also do water canning a lot! I love organic food❤.

Great tips! I find that Aldi has the cheapest organic food of any store in my area. And their organic food is high quality also. Of course, growing your own food is the best way to get organic produce.

I have always spent money on real food & and cooked from scratch. I agree. Nothing is in season right now. I canned & froze much of the Michigan harvest. Also, I agree about the farmer's markets. Look for sales & low cost if buying in bulk, end if season, or ebd if market. Last year, I didn't track prices. This year I will.

Finally someone on u tube that actually eats healthy organic foods. Everyone is eating all this cheap processed foods to spend less money on food but can’t they understand it is very bad in the long run to eat this junk? No actually most people don’t seem to care at all as long as it tastes good they will eat it….. I don’t understand at all.

FYI
I just watched a documentary on farmers markets.
They caught them not growing what they sell... They were lying saying that they were, but they followed them and caught them buying stuff that same morning!
They even neglected to remove the sticker on the stuff, !
So buyer beware... Of course not everyone was a bad actor but some are.

Greed, keep the processed snacks out of the house, and if you are hungry in between your meals, you could always eat a few bites of whatever leftover food is in the refrigerator, veggies and hummus, fruit, nuts, or seeds, etc. I like to bake a tray of baby potatoes to keep on hand as snacks! They can be dipped in hummus, or salsa, or whatever your favorite condiment is, or just eaten by themselves!

Another criteria to consider is "humanely raised". Pigs are so, so cruelly tortured in conventional farms--typically factory farmed. Same with beef and chicken. 😔

You can’t be 50 years old! That’s what organic eating does. It makes us look younger! I’m 46 & people think I’m in my 30’s!

Organic tofu and beans are cheaper than meat and saves the lives of beautiful creatures! Just sayin…
