mine has been sitting 3 years. haven't changed the gas yet. it will crank and crank but not start. i hit under the tank with a hammer and it started and ran very good nice and smooth. when i went to start it again it failed to do so. what can it be?

That was solid video. I have a BMW with a new battery that cranks but wont start after sitting for the winter. Battery is new, all codes are erased unfortunately. Any idea what it might be?

Thank you for this valuable information. Do I need my mechanic open the engine and lubricate it manually before driving it it?
I heard that if a car sits too long - in my case three years - the engine oil drains to the bottom leaving the engine without any lubrication, which could cause major damage if driven. I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks in Advance 🙏
