This video has made me so confident about getting into pointé! I am a boy that does ballet in Australia and has been offered to do pointé, although I lost a lot of hope because my peers always tell me, “Boys can’t do pointé, you’ll never do pointé.” But this has really made me much more confident and excited to know that boys can do pointé.

FYI: I am in Year 6. 😬😩😊⚡️

"It doesn't jam when I bourrée." Hearing that from a guy trying out pointe shoes makes me giggle, and I don't know why. I retired from ballet long before any of these remarkable young men were even born. I only regret NEVER having taken pointe, I think my feet would have improved in strength and flexibility.

I actually was fitted for pointe before! I honestly enjoyed it if I’m gonna be honest! I actually didn’t feel too much pain when trying on pointe shoes for the first time! I would love to take more beginner pointe classes in the future!
