Hi. I'm currently training with my first pair (Grishko 2007) but my feet are so weird in them because, if seen from the front, the metatarsal area has a completely different alignment from where I have my toe, if you know what I mean. Do you think it's the shoe's fault?

Wait!?!? If its her first pair of pointe shoes, what was she wearing before? I know nothing of ballet, so what is the difference between what she was wearing to what a “first time” pointe shoes is?

My goddaughter is in point class at her dance school. I am not a dancer but I noticed at her recital she’s not coming over her box. Her mom outed me and said I was critiquing her and she got upset and said, “I’d like to see YOU to better!” I said, “I can’t but you’re not coming over your box!” She said, “Mom I think my shoes are broke in (dead).” I asked her about the shoes and she said they were used. I said, “Na na na na no! I will pay for half and we need to make you an appointment to get fitted for new shoes!” She has two more years en pointe and I’m not going to have her looking like an amateur when she is a very good dancer!
