Psilocybin mushrooms.
Best shrooms I’ve ever had! Had some amazing trips when I first started taking them. Now I micro dose every few days before work and it has literally changed my life completely for the better.

I have been mostly sad but after taking shrooms few months ago, l feel much happier and highly motivated and my ADHD gone, lost a ton of anxiousness and had a few epiphanies about how I should live my life. I decided to buy an ounce for backup, but haven’t yet felt the need to take any more since then.

Mushrooms saved my life honestly. They helped me see the pure beauty in life, and made me realize how dumb it would be to take myself out.

Psilocybin, LSD, and psychedelics generally are absolutely life changing substances that have so much potential to help people with mental health issues

Mushrooms containing psilocybin saved my life. The aided my benzodiazepine withdrawal allowing me to quit illicit pill addiction after three years of heavy daily use before it would had became medically dangerous to quit. It has also helped me survive depression.

I think any therapist who recommends psilocybin should try it. It would be very encouraging for the patient. I had occasion years ago to share mushrooms with a group. It was an amazing experience. We laughed all night, had long conversations, and the night was pain-free and uplifting. A micro-dose for a therapist would give them the experience to feel how it effects others. Currently I take Esciltalopram, which isn't really doing the job. I will be seeking out a therapist who can prescribe psychedelics.

That's what's been happening with mushrooms and with DMT like bufo alvaris or the golden toad. Where people macrodose in a positive control environment and had such an intense metaphysical and neurological experience and debrief. They develop the ability to tap into that experience and all the physical effects they experience and ate able to then cancel depression, trauma, panic attacks. Is memory muscle.

I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area, I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free, the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did

Listening to this in my car. Every time his hands hit the table there’s a super low bass hit in the audio. Try cutting that frequency out next time you edit your podcast. Great info!

When you stop microdosing, the benefits do not wear off. If there's not much research in the area of microdosing then how can you claim that it stops? I microdose but not all the time now and it has saved my life. I recently took a macrodose which has had an amazing effect.

Micro-dosing psilocybin 2-3 times per week for a month at a time, then skipping one to two months, has replaced 40 mg q.d. of Prozac for my chronic moderate MDD. It has been hypothesized that we have mainly looked at the full psychedelic dosages of these drugs while neglecting lower (micro) doses that are therapeutic as well. I have taken full doses in the past and have worked for 30 years as a therapist (LCSW), and find that the micro-dosing model, combined with once-daily meditation and the active practice of mindfulness have been as effective for me as well as a number of clients I have worked with, as use of traditional antidepressants. This is, of course, purely anecdotal.

I'm 60 years old and I'm curious if there's any work being done with psychedelics, neuroplasticity and neurogenesis with seniors and cognitive decline

I'm in San Diego are there any studies being done at UCSD or UCLA?

How about any communities doing informal, yet conscientious, work in my area

Any info would be appreciated

I've been a spinal coard injury patient since oct.2019 incomplete injury T-2 & C-6 fluid built up and about 2 weeks after surgery I lost all movement and feeling from chest down I've gotten some bk but recently I tried some very clean lsd bc I heard that it could have some positive effects on me with my type of injury well a hr and a half after taking a Lil bit I knew I had made a mistake bc my nervous system went nuts I would tense up so strong I could barely breath all I could do was get on the floor with my pillows and ice water and just pray it let up but it didn't and it took 14 hrs before I got any relief and my nerves settled down I thought I was going to go crazy when they would get intense I would pour sweat..a couple days after I started doing research on what could have caused that and found that almost all Sci patients had the exact same experience when they took lsd after being hurt..

Great conversation! Very interesting observation about PTSD. You lost me at Holotropic breathing. I seriously doubt you felt 1% of a psychedelic experience by laying down and breathing fast for a few minutes. Like you said: "There's no free lunch". But breathing air is free. Look at these comments. No one is selling Holotropic breathing exercises.

This is such great information but struggled to get through this as the microphone keeps picking up the sound of hands hitting the table that is uncomfortable to ears when wearing headphones. Just something to note for next time. It's very distracting.
