Would love to vape DMT rather or other psychedelics like the magic mushrooms, I've been hearing lots of stories about them saying they hit different.

This is really insightful. I hear Ketosis also enhances the psychedelic experience, which in turn boosts neuroplasticity. I like the point neuroplasticity is strongest 6-72 hours after the trip

I'd really loved an episode focused on brain plasticity and the impact of psychedelics in humans

After suffering a stroke earlier this year I ensued on journey into RE-establishing neuro-connectivity using shroom gummies at .25- .50 grams per dose (every few days). This really helped as I had difficulty writing & signing my name prior to ingestion. I took a bit too much one evening also using cannabis resulting in vertigo the next morning. Staying away from the cannabis and lowering the dose seems to be the best course of treatment. My stroke affected the cerebellum so I can understand how the plant medicine is so powerful. I welcome anyone’s feedback and thank you 🙏🏻

it's a double-edged sword indeed and it's important that this remain in view as regulation changes

You're an excellent teacher and you obviously know your stuff. This helped me get it. BTW, these are SO much better than past ones with stock photos and memes. You don't need those

This is very helpful. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to learning more with your future videos. I'm getting ready to start ketamine therapy, and I want to get the most out of it that I can.

Can you do a video on basic pharmacology? Things like inhibition constant, binding affinities. It'd be very helpful for people who want to dive into research papers.

I know there needs to be a balance between appealing to casual psych users and neuroscience enthusiasts, but I love technical videos. They make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I would love to hear about ways to measure neuroplasticity in humans.

Very interesting information. I've been doing spravato treatments for almost a year now. Trying to figure out how to get the most out of my treatments.

I enjoyed this episode, as well as the neuroplasticity discussion you participated in at the Discovery Sessions Conference in San Francisco yesterday. Is the increase in dendritic spine complexity dose-dependent, and have there been any studies investigating optimal dosages and usage patterns? Is there a greater benefit to infrequent large doses (eg. two 30 mg psilocybin doses a few months apart) vs. frequent low doses (eg. 1 mg every two or three days for a few months)? Thank you!

Hello, did you ever make the video on social critical reopening? Thanks! Saw you on the Embody lab summit

do you know if the increase in dendrite complexity also occurs with microdosing psilocybin? (at a lesser rate I am guessing if it does)

I'm interested in how you can look at neuroplasticity in humans!
