One big point you’re missing on that DSI— having you’re own camera and being able to edit and draw on the pictures yourself and then make them a screensaver or send it to your friends was NEXT LEVEL when it first dropped

It’s kinda funny how everyone’s first DS breaks really quickly but the second one lasts forever. I got a DS lite for Christmas back in 2009, but it bricked a few days later. I got a DSi shortly after, and it’s lasted to this day with no issues whatsoever.

Never had one as a child. Years ago they were selling 2ds for like $60 with a Mario game. I should have jumped on it. I didn't know they would become more expensive. I'm still waiting to find a good deal on one.

My first 3DS was the original 2DS and for the time I absolutely loved it! It's much more comfortable than the other 3DS systems due to being one whole shell instead of half the system holding all the controls. I put so many hours into it and I could never hate it even with the bad screen. But now I have a NEW 2DS XL & I love it so much! Better performance but not as comfortable. I had to buy a grip for it to play comfortably.

Aesthetically I'd say the 3DS has the best design, especially the shiny aqua blue. Feature-wise and overall, I'd say the New 3DS is the best one because of the better 3D tracking, hardware and extra buttons.

What if Nintendo combined all of the features from the DS-NN2DSXL and made an ultimate DS. One that had all the benefits and uniqueness from each counsel combined into one. Maybe even a little bigger than the XLs but with the original stylus (a lot of ppl hate the smaller 2ds stylus) with streetpass, pictochat, camera, etc. That would be epic 😎

It should be as powerful as the switch, have longer battery life than the switch, a second circle pad instead of a c stick, a bigger storage
And it should keep that timeless design the ds lite had

I love the look, feel & buttons of the DSi but it’s the odd duck as it’s the first with the online digital store which was pretty cool at the time but they eliminated the GBA ability. The lite is fondly remembered but it’s worth noting the original white ones have an issue with the hinge would crack even when gently used, like one day you would see a crack. The 3D on the 3DS even tho gimmicky at times is such a wonderful experience add to the fact that the eShop is incredible. The original 2DS in my opinion is the most comfortable to play on and I use it the most. The updates 2DS has a built in “non-user replaceable battery”, Nintendo doesn’t even sell a replacement battery! But it’s the NEW 3DS XL is my favorite regardless of it being too large and uncomfortable to play on.

I found my Nintendo DS Lite but the top was defected since I accidentally slept on it when I was younger. I bought a Nintendo 3DS XL second hand and I definitely find it more comfortable to hold and love the bigger screen.

I know that this video was a year ago but I still wanted to comment. I currently have a ds, 3ds, 2ds, n3dsxl, and a n2dsxl. (I also own a switch and switch lite. I have a collecting problem 🙃) I play the n3dsxl almost every day however I don't know why since the n2dsxl is so much more comfortable. They are both my favorite systems to this day 💗. I really enjoyed your comparison video. It was spot on!

I’m never giving my “New” Nintendo 3DS XL away. I haven’t used it since 2019, but I plan on using again when I have time. These are already expensive.
