Of course their old ways are going to come creeping back from time to time. I completely understand where Johnie was coming from.. it felt wrong to him in his gut. But they both talked about it respectfully with each other and that's what matters. Can't wait to see what happens next.

They won't work in the long run. 6:25 "If that's what I want to do, that's what I'm going to do." based on the premise of 7:01 "I want to be proud of myself, and my body." Has anyone asked her why she should be proud of her nonaccomplishments? Not only proud of the nonacomplishemets, like youth and physical attraction, but more so than that of her accomplishments and their relationship. 🤷‍♂

I'm glad she stood up for herself and pointed out the hypocrisy. He didn't have s--t to say when the MEN were walking around half-naked. But as soon as a woman does it, it's a problem.
I get him wanting a compromise instead of just "I'm giving up my beliefs" but at the end of the day, a compromise is not "you do what I say" and that's something he needs to learn if he plans to date worldly women. In the secular world, women are equal to men, which means they DON'T have to obey orders or dress a certain way. If he doesn't like that, he needs to date within the Amish community - not be dating someone who left specifically because she doesn't like the rules.
