Very possibly my favorite battle theme in all Sins. I get this stuck in my head constantly.

"Action stations, action stations... put the fleet into Condition One. PSIDAR has detected inbound hostiles."

Really captures the tension and determination in a close, pitched battle or a desperate defensive action.

Advent alliance, prepare to defend against our former brothers and sisters! Our unity will not shatter, because we have allies. By working together, we have achieved a true unity that the TEC Rebellion and the Vasari Empire could not accomplish. We must hold onto the colony to prepare for what our Vasari rebel allies warn us of and what our TEC allies fear, and hope, just hope that our efforts are not in vain...

I love this theme, but I personally think that the TEC Theme captures the point where the "desperate defence" turns into a heroic stand, with the reinforcements warping in.

i remember a last stand fight i had in a game my vs 8 very hard ai's they kept coming and coming and they never got past my defences to the planet below all that space junk floating around jez that was a good game

Ah... the only thing it is missing is weapons fire, and explosions. If it had that, I would be defending sovereign TEC soil right this second.
