the regular who thinks he's part of the team vs the regular who is part of the team

I love how Clint immediately relexed when Tim sat down because he's a regular that doesn't make everyone uncomfortable.

Tim asking if he's "too early" is an underrated touch - a regular but one who still respects the employees and their time

I felt that “we got one more minute” SO HARD 😂 Nicole’s 15 grace period is a real thing, man. We need it.

The quiet eerie uncomfortable feeling in this video is so accurate of how so many staff members don't enjoy these interactions with a customer that can be like this.

It sucks because I feel like they’re actually really lonely on the inside, but also I’m working like leave me alone.

I worked at Ruby Tuesdays for a while and we had a couple dudes like this. One of them used to get wasted and actually walked back in the kitchen a couple times "to let us know he wanted some food but didnt want to wait for someone to ring him up" he ended up getting banned after the 4th time doing it after being told he couldnt just walk in the back. Some fooks have zero boundaries

Tim being the hero is the character arc we all needed 🤣

"I turned the sign around for ya!"

"That's cool, we're not even open yet."

Tim genuinely asking "Am I too early?" is a perfect blend of ingrained southern hospitality and a blue collar respect for not making someone work before they're on the clock. And I can't believe I'm so sucked into this channel that I read into it that much 😂

We got one of these. Instead of coming in early he comes in a minute before closing. He gets mad when we tell OTHER guest, we are about to close (because the friers been shut down and they won’t be able to order specific things)

He says “you shouldn’t really try to force out guest, or tell them that stuff because they might pay alot and you’ll make other guest (him) feel uncomfortable.”

He says this almost everytime and everytime I tell him as calmly and politely as possible. My self worth is worth more then money. I’m not forcing them out I’m being transparent because certain things arnt available at this time and if he feels uncomfortable about that maybe he should try and come in a bit earlier because I’m not the one in control of the fryer and if he orders something fried he’s not going to be able to get it and then he’ll be mad I didn’t tell him.

He also thinks that as a Blackman I shouldn’t be nice to white people because of what they did to us. I politely shut that down.

We’ve all met that overly friendly customer that we try to dodge whenever they come in.

Worked at a brewery where this guy who used to grow hops would sit every Monday and Thursday at the service well of the bar. He would hang out for hours, sampling this and that, talking to the brewer and always turning conversation out of nothing with whoever sat next to him.

A year of him doing this, our manager offered him a job as a barback so he could get some of our beer discounts and get paid to hang out. This guy not only started working there but was a brewer assistant and assistant manager before I left the next year.

We were all waiting for the other shoe to drop, like this guy was a weirdo or gonna steal something from the walk in, turned out to be a solid dude
