In my opinion it’s not a superstition.. it’s more so that you don’t get your expectations up when you see those cute clothes..the attachment builds up more… god forbid.. but things can go really wrong even after the first 3 months. I was pregnant this year and delivered in june. Even I was forbidden from buying anything. Though I did go ahead and buy stuff in my 9th month..!!!

A thing I would recommend you get from here is the wearable breast pump, they are not the same quality in India. Also, pumping bras and nipple shields if you are planning to pump. These are better quality here. I understand where aunty is coming from - but these are technically for you😂
