I feel like nearly everyone other than the most extreme of Nintendo fanboys are rooting for Pocketpair and Palworld to succeed. Not only because of Palworld itself, but to also finally knock Nintendo down a peg and show them their patent abuse isn't going to always win. Also, Pokemon desperately needs new blood for competition, and Palworld has the ability to do that.

And to the Nintendo fanboys that I'm sure will get really tilted at my post: Y'all want Pocketpair to win too. Competition breeds innovation. If there is no competition, Pokemon will continue to stay as stagnant as it currently is. You'll continue to get rushed, buggy games and what basically amounts to updated rosters. You know, like how all the sports games are nowadays. Pokemon = Madden at this point.

honestly I feel people who are still die hard Nintendo fans are red flags just like people who are the same with with politics. Blind obedience and unquestioning servitude is a scary thing since the dawn of man.

I never played Pokemon ever since it was born. I like Dungeon Keeper and survival games is why I play Palworld so I was NEVER a Pokemon customer. I hope Nintendo fails this suit.

I'm excited for Palworld merch. It's a great way to expand and capitalize on the love the fandom has for the game and devs for sure.
If anything, I'd like gor the main game to be the main world and hub for lore to explore and expand from rather than a sequel, especially since this game doesn't have a story with a definitive end yet.

I could see a Palworld anime as being very dark. And I think that be great. That would also help separate it from Pokemon. Despite Pokemon movies have had their share of dark moments. Such as with the first big movie with Mew Two. I could see Palworld being much more dark than that.

Look, you get a knife to kill the pals you own with, if you feel you need their meat more then their skills. And that is just touching on how dark things can get in it. Just saying.

Plus, there is the more adult element in it, hinted at number 69 Lovander, looking for humans for it's possible nightly debauchery. You're not going to ever see anything like that in a Pokemon movie cartoon, or game, no matter what it's most recent Pokemon Myth story leaks may say in them. But there is a chance of see something like that in a Palworld amine. Maybe. We, will see.

As fun a game as it is, what the game needs in my opinion is persistent character save data. Moving from world to world and losing all progress / progress tracking separately is a bit annoying.

Especially after going heavy in my friend's main world > they stopped playing after a while >Now all my Pals and gear there is in limbo. Effectively gone.

I did remember the devs mentioning they wanted to address this at some point. Im hoping the idea isnt gone down the pipeline.

I've been a Pokemon fan since the 90's but even I know how the Pokemon IP is just a festering corpse held up by Youtubers and people deep in nostalgia. They keep putting out subpar game after game and their latest offering have been a laggy buggy mess with its jump to Switch and they keep doing this because there really isn't another game like it that can compete with it. I was hopping Palworld would kinda knock some sense into them to make a better product but them registering patents a week before they decided to sue Palworld tells me all I need to know.

I'll say it again: An Aniplex/Sony Music deal likely means an anime is already in the planning stages even if it never gets finalized. Beyond that They need to expand on the minimal story content they've offered so far. I expect they will, but it's still something the game really needs and would be especially helpful if they're planning some multi media expansion. Nindo lawsuit be dammed.
