I've used rosehip oil since I was about 12 and recently I think it's been causing comodones which is HORRIBLE because I love it so much. A lighter alternate oil I have found that does the same thing in terms of regeneration and moisture is the Skyn Arctic Oil (which is 99% calendula I believe). It's amazing on my dry skin but is a lighter oil and soaks in quicker. It's about $40 NZD but is a giant bottle compared to the Trilogy rosehip oil I used for years. That and the 5% lactic acid by The Ordinary basically cleared up my skin. It's my 20000% recommendation 😍

I'm 10 years out of accutane... and my skin is still very dry, sensitive and flaky. I can't use anything with scent or that's abrasive. The thing is I wouldn't go back and not do it. It's amazing the confidence you get from having clear skin.
