Hey Coders, I built a KieCodesGPT using the new Assistents API by OpenAI. I had to take this brand new thing for a test drive right away. This video is a lot longer than it has to be, because setting one of these up is a matter of minutes, but there is always a catch to it, right?

I actually take it a step further and name my files accordingly. Ie company information, employees, patient services etc so if the question comes in for what services do you offer it looks in that one and someone says who’s jay it looks in employee etc

Great video. Assistants API does not look ready to build production apps with yet. Hopefully OpenAI will continue to make improvements. So far these new features only seem to benefit OpenAI by increasing the token use and thus overall development cost. It’s crazy to hit rate limits, especially after OpenAI claims to have doubled them just doing QA over such a small amount of data.
