Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 without dimming

So from my understanding, TVTokyo forced Mappa to dim and add ghosting to the anime because of seizure concerns.
This is not the original look I just tweaked some settings, I didn't clear the ghosting because it would take some time but I think light and color are way better this way.

Yeah, a lot of anime use that dimming effect even beyond just Mappa. I think it's a law or something ever since Pokemon gave kids seizures by thinking rapidly flashing red and blue was a good idea.

READ BEFORE YOU WRITE A DUMB COMMENT PLEASE
1) The show meant to be look bright by animators and the work is there bright and crisp, tv tokyo just butchered some scenes because of regulations, there is not a single animator or studio who would want their hard work ghosted or dimmed.
2) This is just me tweaking some light settings, "not the original look" so "LOST DETAIL" you might write will not be a thing in the original bluray when mappa releases it.
4) Its a law for "tv releases" in japan, not for the western releases like Crunchyroll. So we could ve easily get the quality version but now you need to buy the bluray to get the better version.

Please make a whole series of this for every dimmed scene in jjk

I'm really looking forward to watching the bluray version, the censorship for Tvtokyo is kind of ruining some scenes. Thank God the Sukuna V Mahoraga fight looked phenomenal regardless

I agree that undimmed looks prettier, but I also appreciate the dimmed version. Undimmed is uncomfortably brighter in some scenes (looking at the blu-ray version) for me and I worry that the increased clarity could actually become fatiguing. I doubt this is true for every watcher, but for the general population, it's undeniably a more "correct" choice.

It would be a neat effect if they transferred from the undimmed version to the dimmed after it cuts to black from the aftershock

They do that to reduce scenes that may induce epileptic seizures

I really like the dimming effect here. it makes Gojos power feel more overwhelming. Hes bending space so I expect some sort of distortion XD

Frankly, the undimmed is undeniably much better but I didn’t actually care during the scene lmao

i always wondered why on some scenes of anime always dimmed, I thought it was my PC messing up half the time

Sometimes I wish anime companies would drop both versions on the same day. One with the dim/blur and one without but I get that would probably increase the chance of a few people having "episodes". Plus the industry can get more money from the Blu-ray copies
