Fun fact, in the last classroom scene there are two papers writing in kanji(or u can consider it as chinese) one with "天上天下”and other with "唯我独尊”both combined is “天上天下唯我独尊”which literally translates to the famous quote "Throughout heaven and earth I alone am the honored one"

I love how the animators are really trying to make the opening and ending look like a normal happy highschool slice of life 😂

I like how at the starting of the opening, you can see gojo sitting in the chair with his current blindfold and in the latest episode, it shows that he was dreaming about his past and he woke up on the same chair with the same blindfold indicating that this opening is also his dream. Insane work!

Shibuya arc might be goated, but this is my favourite because it managed change my whole perspective on jjk.

The opening is really just a dream, we found out in episode 5 that gojo was sleeping and that it was a dream showing a whole past, that's why he looked so happy. Note, that when he woke up, it looked like he was crying and he really was, Gojo was arrogant but after everything he went through and hurt himself so much for a guilt he never had, he learned to be more humble

Man, this intro just makes me so intensely sad. It’s a snapshot of an impossibly free and happy time in life made bitter by all the things that took it away. Moving from this arc, which at times feels like a separate genre from the rest of JJK, where violence and power are all just treated as toys to be manipulated by the principle cast, into Premature Death and the Shibuya Incident where that power is no longer so evenly balanced, and where the consequences of that violence are felt so sharply felt, is almost cruel. Absolutely goated show

i dont really understand why people view this opening as being happy lol. it feels more bittersweet to me

If you observe carefully, you will find that starting at 0:55, the entire picture is the picture seen through GOJO’s eyes, the whole picture is formed by the reflection of GOJO’s sunglasses, the direction of GETO’s hair bangs is reversed, From right to left. GOJO has been watching GETO all the time, this is their touching friendship😭😭😭
