To be honest, I'm not too sad about it. I can finally enjoy the music everywhere I go. 😉

They’re playing Millennial music on our local oldies station and the grocery stores. It’s happening too quickly!

A couple of years ago I was at the grocery store and "Under the Bridge" came on. It was then that I realized I was grocery store music old. 😂 But I'm with you guys...kinda glad to be done with the McDonald guy 😂😂😂

C&C Music Factory “Everybody Dance Now” came on the station at our dentist’s office! It used to be “easy listening” 30 years ago. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Of course I danced in my seat and sang out loud. 😂😂😂

I'll never forget the time I was shopping at a Halloween store and found a 90's costume. I was devastated. I was used to seeing the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's costumes, but seeing one for the 90's was a hard pill to swallow.

You guys understand my pain! 90s rock is NOT classic rock!!!! Classic rock is a genre! Pearl Jam & Foo Fighters do NOT belong on classic rock stations!! I feel seen!

It's funny, but I like recognizing all the background music. I sing while I'm shopping and it's great!

It's wild to think that the rebellious grunge anthems we rocked out to are now considered classic rock. Guess we're officially "vintage" now—just like our flannel shirts!

I've been playing the good stuff from the 80's and 90's for my kids for ages, and my senior wore one of my Nirvana t-shirts on the first day of school, because that's cool now? And my youngest (7, I'm that mom that people aren't sure if im an old mom or young grandma. It's old mom) pointed out the intro to 'teen spirit' at the grocery store last week. He's been trying to learn it on his drums...

Two years ago, I was dancing to some late 80s, early 90s hits while shopping & realized my music is "supermarket" music. To make it worse, my teenage nephew plays guitar. I offered to pick him up some classic rock decorated guitar picks - meaning Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, George Harrison, etc. His reply was, "I love classic rock. Nirvana was amazing" 😮😮😮

Yep. This hit me hard about ten years ago. Driving to work and STP came on a classic rock station?!Switched to a “classic” country station to be confronted with “Should’ve Been A Cowboy!” I knew that day I was old. 😂😢
