Which sea creature scared you the most and have you ever encountered a sea creature?

I’m just puzzled as how so many people over so many centuries & in a variety of water settings across the world and with no association with each other can be so wrong about seeing ‘monsters’ and describing them in such great detail.

EZ-viewing.

When I was a kid (around 12 or 13 early1990s) my dad, brother and grandfather were fishing in Lake Erie at Barcelona New York. It was night time and we were on the break wall. I was bored because the fish weren't biting. I stood up with my lantern in hand I happened to look out in the water and saw two huge eyes as they sank down into the water. So I sat back down slowly bringing the lantern down to the concrete and as I did the massive eyes slowly returned back up close to the surface. Every time I stood up with the lantern to get a better view of what I was seeing they would return to deeper water. I'd estimate the eyes to be the size of soft balls. I have other stories about this same area

Alligators are native to NC and are found in Saltwater and the ocean more than you think. They don't stay or live in Saltwater like Crocs but they use saltwater not only just to travel but to hunt, to get parasites they may have picked up off of them. All kinds of reasons. Although that was not an alligator in the footage, they do not swim that way.

It’s a good drinking game this. Every time he says ‘loch ness monster’ you have to take a shot

BASKING SHARK! Not "Giant Shark, "
Unless you mean a Whale Shark that is.
And that "footage" of Nessie was taken from the Werner Herzog movie, "Incident at Loch Ness, " It's not actual monster footage.
And as for those supposed underwater pictures of Ogopogo about to bite a woman, that's from a inflated pool float shot underwater.
You need to go over these photos more throughly.

Yes i was swimming in the philippines on the china sea side, and a polka dot creature came up beside me and swam around our boat! Happened in the early 70's. Years later found out it was a whale shark! Lol not funny back then!

Very interesting and informative video. I'm not convinced that all of the footage is genuine but I certainly believe that there is a lot we don't know about the creatures of the deep waters of the world. I kind of hope that some monsters are real.

I would suggest, instead of only showing animal footage for a few seconds and switching to person looking confused- for 3x the time, you should just loop the actual clip- then ppl like me won't have to go back 3 times and get seriously annoyed by the irrelevant/inappropriate footage of random ppl looking uneducated or ignorant. BUT CONGRADULATIONS, you did a good job, you pronounced foreign names very well and did a lot of good research. You missed name of that huge shark( & not "huge shark", lol), salt-water vs fresh water distinction and I can't even believe you missed the pictures from East coast of US from 5 or so years ago, which showed a plesiosaurus baby- it was in all newspapers and should be here.

The North Carolina one looks very strange. Similar to an alligator but more mammalian. What is it?

I have my doubts about the "baby megalodon" footage...It looks augmented.

The so called giant shark as you call it is actually a Basking Shark. There is no species of shark called "the giant shark."

Not one clear or convincing photo or film . Mostly just blurred shapes at long distances . With all the high tech cameras and photographic equipment available these days you would at least expect to come across some clear and well defined film or photographs to put this mystery to rest and convince the sceptics .

Nessie is a lake monster, not a sea Monster.

The 'champ' picture was the same as 'nessie' but reversed.

Why do you keep saying "sea monster" when most of the examples come from fresh water lakes?
Oh, and Loch Lomond is pronounced "low-mond"!!

There could be a gigantic cave like world under the ocean on the bottom of the ocean. A pocket of life if you will; that is more than a thousand miles across in the earth, but the opening doesn't let the big creatures out. A world with ocean and plenty of land; and all the dinasaurs and sea creatures of the tens of thousands of years of the past are still here out of sight. And then someday a earth quake will crack open this small opening on the ocean floor, like a huge walnut the size of a underwater mountain; and all the sea creatures and dinasaurs in that area will come out of the earth and ocean to begin to kill and crush and terrorize you all.😮
