Even though the screen was hard to read at times, this was still the best demo I found out there, and I was able to navigate my way through all the screens based on your great verbal instruction. Thanks so much for putting this out there!

The good wish is edit this video to 3minutes and people will benefit. Users use the tool to calculate area, distance, perimeter if they are in land measurements. This video can have sequel to it. Jeff is a good teacher at his job.

Ayy you got da H version of the Blue legend as well. I love it, it's great for surveying and openstreetmaps mapping.

Just bought an eTrex Legend on eBay, like new, for $15+shp.
Came with original box. manual, cables etc.... not a scratch on it.
It came with a serial and USB cable, but I don't think the USB can be used on this old eTrex!
I'm looking forward to learning and use it!

Press the 'on' button again and a slider for the backlight appears, push the toggle north to increase the backlight.

The calendar/clock on mine is set to April 2003 & I've tried everything including a hard reset to update. Do you know how to?

I just got one of these. How do I plug this into my computer? I do not see any USB port. Do I need to update the software on it?
