@garminretailtraining Where did NMEA and Garmin Spanner go for the GPSMAP 67 series?

Implentation of USB-C and streamlining the menu system is all well and good. But NMEA should be present as bluetooth (serial) service on a premium handheld like the GPSMAP 67 seriesin order to be a tool of choice.

The pricing is getting ridiculous. Now If I want to have maps of Norway without a subscription- that's €169 for EACH out of the 10 maps. €1690 in total! I have the Garmin inReach Mini and it costs me almost 150 euro A YEAR to use it just for one MONTH. It's €40 for a freedom plan so I can send and receive messages, t here's a donation to Garmin for keeping their satellites in the air I guess and there's another €45 to actually be able to use the SOS button.

I wish that the GPSMap 67 was powered by AA batteries. All batteries lose capacity over time and some even fail. Can the internal battery be switched out when it gets old?

I purchased GPSMAP 67 in India. You have TopoActive Maps for entire world except India and neighboring countries. Is it by Design or Mistake ? Looks like Money wasted.
