In the Philippines we also say "Ano" if we want to clarify some things like;
“We will have a (****)”
“Ano?”

Ano also means "what" in English. but as Filipino, we can use it everywhere or any other topics beside to clarify some things.

In the Philippines we say oi for casual like the japanese and ano as well in formal, in visaya ano is inan, so yeah we really adapted some japanese things, I think.
