I’ve been gettting a lot of questions about what a Beginner Producer should work on, so I thought I would post this one again!

✅ 1. CREATING AS MUCH MUSIC AS POSSIBLE
Don’t worry about choosing a genre. Instead, try anything and everything you feel inspired to try. You will find your sound over time. When I first started I tried hip hop, then progressive house, then big room house, and now I make more melodic house music.

✅ 2. STARTING YOUR SOCIALS / PERSONAL BRAND
Your socials, like your music, will develop over time. The important thing is to just start. Waiting will only cause you more pressure for them to be perfect.

✅ 3. WATCHING YOUTUBE TUTORIALS (BUT NOT TOO MANY)
One tip for tutorials is to watch them AS YOU NEED THEM - don’t just watch everything because it will overload you with too much info.

✅ 4. GETTING AS MUCH FEEDBACK AS POSSIBLE
Quality feedback leads to quality results.

✅ 5. CONNECTING / COLLABING WITH OTHER PRODUCERS⠀
I recommend collabing with producers who are good at the things you aren’t good at, so you can make better music + improve your weaknesses by learning from them.
