Iris character has long overstayed her welcome. So it was time to have her die. Found it interesting that she never had sex with Mike, Konstantine or Milo. In a way it gave her this kind of special place where she was above the usual cliche or predictable roles a woman in her position might be. Kareem suicide made total sense. He had no other choice in his mind. Id love to see Robert as the villian next season. Turning KPD against Mike and just full out being on a paranoid fueled warpath. Does anyone else think they need to do a flashback episode of some things that Mike had to do in prison as a Aryan member?

I think Mike will take Robert out before he lets Evelyn arrest him. Robert has become unpredictable and knows too much about Mike, Kyle, Ian, and Stevie

Indeed. Ian should never have put himself in the line of fire, should have let Morissey testify and send Robert to the clink, and all of this would have been averted. But none of them realized just what a loose canon Robert was before now...except for Evelyn.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Mike can or will let Evelyn have Robert. Robert would have dirt on Mike, Ian, Kyle, and Stevie. They had a lot of diner meetings lol

While I do not know if for whatever reason Kyle just never has it on; You'll notice that on Kyle's left shoulder he has a bodycam on his vest, (Or right shoulder if you're looking towards him).

I believe either this or people filming the incidents, as well as witness testimony will get Kyle acquitted of charges.

Maybe Robert follows through and kills Evelyn and then Mike sets him up to go down? Or then kills him and claims self defense? I am most interested to see what happens with Kyle. Mike talked the whole episode about how he had to do evil things to survive. Will Kyle have to do the same? Mike said he will always protect him, how is he going to do that now? Callahan will surely tell them if he’s still alive that Mike betrayed him so Kyle won’t be able to join the AB. Also, Kyle is going to have no friends in prison so very interesting to see what happens there. He’s a cop so every inmate will be his enemy and he shot a cop so all of the guards will be against him too. Idk how he survives but shit is going to be crazy.

Not to worry. Evelyn will take Robert down. THAT is what she warned Mike about. She will take Robert down ANY WAY she has to. PRECISELY why Robert was quizzing Kyle on what he'd say if he got arrested, immediately prior to the bridge.

This explanation of Iris' actions make sense. Three women told Mike that he had good in him in this episode, that they believed in him. He cast that aside, as he'd always cast Iris aside, not taken her seriously, despite finally acknowledging to her that he knew he was the only thing she wanted.

Soon as I posted I realized Evelyn said she had to take him to custody, with I believe it was Ian who said there were people recording everything with phones, so I'm gonna assume that's how Kyle gets off - someone will have recorded Robert shooting Bunny's guy who tried surrendering and was gunned down by Robert while unarmed with his hands up. This will be used to show Kyle was trying to protect the father in the car. This would get Ian off the hook for Morrisey too, since her only real interest in Ian was to get to Robert.

I agree that it would have made narrative sense for Milo to kill Iris overall, but that just sets her up as another victim Mike has to save/avenge. Her taking charge of her own ending was her way to reclaim her narrative and make a decision about her future. She clearly stated what she wanted, but all of the men in her life denied her agency saying “you don’t want that” or “you won’t survive here”. At the end of the day, the only thing Iris had control of in that moment was how she died and she took it.

Taking Robert out this episode would have had him accepting that atonement, and resetting the scales. Unfortunately, it did not play out like that. We had an uneventful season, capped by a few great episodes at the tail end, without this poetic justice making more sense of his narration.

Robert had their back since season 1. They relied on him. Am on his side.

They should’ve killed Robert this season as well, bc now we have to tolerate his bullshit even more now.. they’re DRAGGING TF out of that Robert shit.. my god… not to mention the Kyle incident… like how about the INNOCENT FUCKING CIVILIAN that Kyle saved? Surely that guy would be questioned after shit like that, would he not be able to VOUCH for Kyle ? As in “yea that one cop saved me from being shot from this other cop, i was in the car with my kid, i was no threat & the 2nd cop was about to SHOOT ME”… for fucks sake.. Jesus Christ… but for the finale, I’m generous enough to give this about an 7.5-8.0/10 overall tho.. bc the pacing keeps you on the edge the entire episode..

I feel like the finale really set up some tension for next season. Evelyn is kinda dumb, she’s got to know Mike is the only one looking out for her, now she’s burning that bridge. Curious as to how Robert will react going forward. Iris committing suicide felt a bit off to me, I think it would’ve made more sense for Milo to kill her on the boat. I am glad that Milo is done. I’m hoping we get to see a different side of Mike next season, considering Iris is dead, Evelyn is going after Kyle and Ian, I think that could lead to seeing a darker side of Mike.

I can see room for a Season 4 with Ian and a recovered Robert causing a swell of underground PD and shoot first act later mentality; though I kind of wish Robert was killed.

Still, it will make tensions for the McLusky's and KPD interesting. Mike will fuel a back and forth defending Kyle against Evelyn while sleeping with her in-between and baiting her in every direction that's away from her and Kyle—even if against Bunny, who he prophesized in his own warning against spreading 'yonder west' (or whatever direction they were pointing that's outside of Kingstown) for Season 4 .
