Calls himself a coward

One of the most gangster and courageous men you will ever meet

His words literally gave me goosebumps

"He who sheds his blood with me shall forever be my brother"
Never a coward...you did what you could. He sacrificed himself for his fellow seals. You kept on fighting. A warriors life is not a easy one. God bless our fallen. Guide those who have returned.

It's intense hearing a man describe himself as a coward and you can see in his eyes that he is haunted by that experience. Definitely not a coward, far from it! A true warrior. Respect from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

i reserve immense respect for marcus luttrell. he came out of a vicious, no-holds barred firefight, lost three friends, and was rescued by someone who risked their life in sheltering him. he went through a lot and is no coward in my eyes. he is a hero and an inspiration.
i don't know about any of you guys, but if i heard my best friend screaming my name for help and they were dying, i would be forever haunted.
marcus is no coward.

1:57 - 2:05 hits me every time. the pain and anger at 2:04 before the next sentence, some people just do not understand. Thanks to everyone in the military for their service

Mike Murphy sacrificed himself so his friends can live plus he was a Lieutenant(senior in Rank among the other three). They all fought so bravely.Just to remind you blokes that at that time they had fall off twice from those hills rolling through trees and falling on rocks and all of them were shot almost everywhere. And Marcus Luttrell You're not a coward, You're a hero who told us this heroic tale.Matthew Axelson was another unforgotten hero.Mike, Axe and Danny are not dead. They'll live forever along with Marcus <3 You all

The part that really touched me about this story was the village who saved him. And they fought for this man, putting their own lives at risk because of an ancient code, and didn't let him die. That's something I can respect

Marcus you are far from a coward. I know you have your code and you put your gun down. My God you had your best friend dying calling for you. You are stronger than any man. Forgive yourself, you went on after that. God bless you. . .

The people who call this guy a coward will never know what it does to you watching your friends die. I have such respect for the guy for managing to survive and talk openly about his story.

My mom used to work with him, he was one of the most humble men you would ever meet

This man is FAR from a "coward". He has MORE than established himself as a warrior to both his team and his enemies. I admire his modesty and candidness.
