Miners achieve this by solving a computational problem which allows them to chain together blocks of transactions (hence Bitcoin’s famous “blockchain”).

Oh..it was my understanding that they solve problems for scientific research such us unwrapping proteins and stuff like that but it is all done for the crypto.. This shit has become even less interesting and pointless
