This is exactly the problem. It doesn’t actually do anything. It only has value because people agree it does due to scarcity. Even though it’s useless. Also doesn’t make sense to use it for a reserve due to its insanely high price.

The Value comes from the people, if someone is willing to use Bitcoin to purchase something then it has value of exchange and being decentralizied and permissionless it does not discriminate anyone, anywhere can use it.
