Ok y’all, I figured out what to do to get it to work every time. When you first jump off of the ledge press the D-pad after falling for about 2 seconds (don’t press it immediately) then let go of the D-pad. Now this is the tricky part, when you let go of the D-pad you will see Link slightly move his arm to the right, once you see this happen IMMEDIATELY press the D-pad again. If his arm moves back to its original position before you press the D-pad then you’ve messed up. So once you’ve pressed the D-pad for the second time, let go of R then the D-pad and then very quickly hold the D-pad down again and drop the object. Then just let go of the D-pad and presto, it works every single time! I know it’s super confusing but I hope this helps!!! ❤

This glitch works really well, and I have discovered it even works better in the SKY ISLANDS, especially those where the gravity is lower. That allows link to stay on air for more time, making the glitch much easier and comfortable to do.

I can confirm, this just worked for me. Tried it out just now on version 1.2.1. Make sure each time you press and let go of the up bottom, you leave enough time so that Link drops just a tiny bit into his fall.

Thanks for this. I tried before but I needed a bigger ledge. I calculated you need 104550 Rupees to buy every compendium entry + every house part.
Not even going to list how expensive the fairy upgrades are

Love it, takes a little bit to get used to the timing but one you do it’s easy as butter. A place I recommend is right in lookout landing, climb the guard tower straight across from the skyveiw tower and jump from there off the ladder, you won’t take damage and if you do it right your duped items will either land beside you or get caught by the wall in front of you so you don’t have to worry about tossing your hard work into a pit somewhere

Also done this glitch to farm rupees w duping diamonds 😅 Was a little hard at the beginning with the timing when opening/closing the menu. After couple tries, it gets very easy.

If anyone still isn’t doing it consistently. It’s much easier if you just walk off/fall from the ledge rather then jump because then you can do it all fast and not worry about the weird ordeal where your item is either missing or you can’t take that out right now.

This really works well, used it to get the lynel pieces for my barbarian armor because i killed all the lynels in the game, still didn't have enough, and had like, 3 hours till the next bloodmoon. Thank you man. May both sides of your pillow be nice and cool tonight.

While I really miss the B+Y glitch, these latest ones are very helpful all the same! So if I'm understanding the second one with the dispenser...one has to have at least 20+ items before they try to duplicate multiples yes?
As I did try to do the second one but likely misunderstood it!

How do you jump backwards while readying a throw?? Mine just cancels the throw and turns link towards the camera

Took me a bit to get the rhythm down for this, but it works great! Much faster than the "watch a memory then fall onto your horse" method.

So, a couple of things to note:
-As someone else mentioned, this can be used for dragon parts (and other items that explode on impact), you just need to use Recall to pull back the thrown item before it hits something.

-Like other dupe glitches, this is affected by the 20 dropped item limit. So, it can't be used on something you have 21+ plus of. Still, being able to go from 1 to 21 in just a few minutes is great!

I’ve been doing this for a few days, you can use to duplicate dragon parts also that others glitches like this couldn’t (at least far as i know)

Ive been trying this but it just keeps saying that i cant take the item out right now and i dont know what to do to allow me to dupe the item. I can also get the game to let me drop the item but link doesnt throw one and it just falls to the ground. What is going on?
