This was EXTREMELY scary

Filip Chytil experienced a scare during the Rangers' preseason game against the Islanders after taking a hard hit from defenseman Scott Mayfield. He was helped off the ice, favoring his left leg, raising concerns given his history of injuries. However, Chytil returned to the game later in the first period and even scored a goal in the Rangers' thrilling 6-4 comeback victory. His injury does not appear to be serious, allowing him to continue his strong preseason performance.

First thing first, I hate seeing players get injured pre season or regular season, especially as a NYR fan seeing a Ranger on the ice injured is never a good feeling.
However I’ve seen some people claiming that Mayfield shouldn’t have made that hit, or it was a big hit on a veteran, first the hit wasn’t hard, second that hit was as clean as you can make it, no head contact no targeting, no teeing him up from 30 feet away, about as clean of a open ice hit as you can possibly make, Chytil got his leg hit just right to cause a minor injury, it was unlucky in every sense of the word.
