The suits are the bean counters that control allocation of energy to all machines and programs. The Analysist talks about how expensive it was to rebuild Neo and Trinity, comparing them to remodeling a house. He had to convince them the energy cost was worth it. I think the Analysist is playing 4d chess and knew Neo and Trinity would play into his plan. He is letting them "remake" the Matrix when in reality they digging deeper into the hole for all humans.

The suits are the villains mentioned throughout the movie: "Warner Brothers, our parent company."
In the story, they are the ones making everything happen and inserting their own ideas that must be very diplomatically shut down.
The Suits want the Matrix to be rebooted.

The "suits" would be machines in charge of resource distribution and production. They probably weren't necessary roles until the creation of 01. That's probably where they began.
With the civil war between machines due to energy distribution I wonder how the roles might have splintered and changed compared to pre-Neo.

I thought The Suits as the physical manifestation of The Architect and The Oracle.

I mean one of the Suit specifically The Architect is the physical manifestation named Deus Ex Machina which Neo perceives as the Sun or the artificial spirit of machine in the machine world.

I just thought what's the Suit of Oracle be? Maybe moon.

Suits is just a translation to human terms of the "boss AIs". If I had to guess, on dedicated "bare metal", not 'virtualised' like the AIs we see in the movies. My feel for hierarchy of AIs is : suits (supervisory AIs, immobile IRL though maybe distributed, huge and with "waldo" appendages), unitary Mobile AIs of various scales and forms, "software only" forms that need "spaces" like the matrix to inhabit like the Merovingian and thus terminatable, and finally Agents who may in fact partially run on/possess stolen human brains as compute fabric, not true AIs at all, explaining Smiths "actualisation" as a human form IRL and dislike of the "stench" of humanity.

I think the suits have been there since or before the creation of 01. I think they exist in the physical world but can enter the Matrix if they want, like wireless jacking in.

I still think the original Architect is one of the "Suits, " and perhaps the Upgrade Agents from Reloaded as well. Deus Ex Machina is almost certainly one of them.

Thanks for making this video. Your deep dive into these topics is mind blowing to me. Before the mention of “The Suits” in Resurrections I thought Duex Ex Machina was the all controlling dictator of the Machines. But it seems it’s more like a counsel where consensus needs to be reached before any thing is done. In which case I agree with the ones you mentioned as the possible Suits - the ones in the Animatrix, and possibly the Architect, Analyst, and even the Oracle.

The Suits are lower in ranking than the Architect and the Oracle, while they were able to delete them doing the machine war they weren't able to gain access of the source code of the Matrix and the machine city. This is the Key I used to understand that Neo and Trinity hold that code inside their bodies which they tried to extract and decode with no luck.
Now Neo and Trinity have full control of both worlds and are in a position to control and delete even the Suits and destroy machines. But rules are changed.

I think the suits are literally the agents and they are the direct enforcers for whoever the leaders are. Or they are a manifestation of the collective consciousness of the machines

humans are processores not batteries prossesores thats why we say we only use 10 % of our minds the rest is used by the machines to run analoge prossing =) it says so in the book
