They arguably have more influence because music and singing has more emotional engagement so we may not even realize what theology is seeping deep in our hearts and ringing indefinitely because of how catchy the tune is and how it makes us feel.

We may remember bits and pieces of a sermon and refer to it occasionally, but songs that we like for whatever reason stick with us and become a part of us with little to no effort. We can catch ourselves singing false beliefs on autopilot as easily as breathing and then have to use our minds to undo the theological damage that our susceptible feelings got us into through songs

As a new worship leader, I always feel led to select praise and worship songs plus one that encourages. However the final aspect isn't always acceptable. Whats the right formula, yoit advise very much appreciated

There's nothing like worship leaders.

There is no title known as “worship leader” in the church of Christ Jesus.
Making up titles and phrases to satisfy human desires is pure vanity.
Worship is not singing; and singing is to praise GOD.

I totally disagree. I listen to the sermon from the pastor and study the Word, to make sure what was said is biblical. I listen to Christian music and have heard every song that the worship band plays. I know if that song is biblical or not. So no, the songs chosen for worship does not influence my beliefs. The Word of God does!

At least they don't change 300$ for a course on apologetics.
