came back to the game and watched this video to redo all my setting and it help out a bunch! I love that you took the time to explain what all the settings do and chopped them up into sections you can skip to if you don't know a specific one. What a great video! 👍👍

Setting the Textures to medium and playing on Borderless window dramatically decreased the stutters it still happens from time to time but now barely noticeable. I have an RX 580 everything set to high except, textures, SSAO, Shader Quality and Grass are all on medium. I'm getting stable 60 except in the starting Limgrave area.

Volumetric quality is for the quality of mist and clouds ( it is a beautiful setting at his maximum )

Motion blur seems to help when your monitor has poor response times. Its good to keep it on if you a VA monitor with 60 hz max refresh rate. If you have very good monition handling monitor you can keep it off.

Thanks for the great breakdown! I've been closely looking at trying to get rid of the awful grass pop-in that is some of the worst I've seen in 10 yrs. Bought the PS5 version but thinking of returning it (still sealed) and getting the Steam version. From needs to either farm out their PC ports or spend the time needed to release a quality PC version.

SSAO still makes characters, player included, have a halo of light around them and it creates ghosting, even at medium. There still no option to turn off chromatic aberration, nor vignette. Classic Japanese console devs.

Appreciate the super in depth, but I must say you should give us a list of the settings in the about section. So if we need to return to this video. We dont need to skim through it hoping to find the spots where you say what to select.

how do i fix every souls type game always looking grainy on pc? elden ring, sekiro, ds3, all that jus looks so grainy

I can not play in full screen, only in borderless mode because if i set full screen i see like if the resolution change (black screen for seconds and then everything appears) in the same 1080 but way much brighter, like i don't know why i can see with light from the screen in dakest areas and during day its so orrible to watch, its so bright that everything feels of the same color

I was playing elden ring & I decided to play with the graphics settings because it drops frames & stutters but suddenly I noticed when I choose borderless it gives true colors & blacks than the fullscreen! Man it look so amazing that the fullscreen setting looks gray compared to the borderless setting!

Please how to fix this? I want the fullscreen because of the low latency but how to make the fullscreen setting to have the awesomeness of picture quality of the the borderless setting?
I'm playing on windows 11 & using port display

I also suffer from motion sickness especially in assassins creed games but I didn't face any of it in this game fortunately.

With an NV GTX 980 I am currently on low / off and getting a smooth experience in borderless window and it looks like ps4 bloodbourne.
But using this video I will experiment with some SSAO and medium shadows, wish me luck :p
