How to Treat Evil People Who Have Hurt You

How do we treat evil people who have a pattern or history of doing evil towards us? It gets a lot more complicated when these people come back into our lives with apologies. What is the Christlike way forward with a person like this?

What a great message/teaching! Not for men only, for everyone. Especially if a person experienced betrayals, backstabbing, or a disrespect/mistreatment in a family. “Forgive quickly, trust slowly”. Thank you, Pastor Mark. 🙏🏻🕊

I have felt some of Joseph’s pain in the past. I was always the black sheep and left out by most of my family. But I found Jesus! Now I have a loving church family that loves me for who I am. Also a beautiful wife who has always been by my side.

This was soo good (as usual). I'm going to watch several times as I've been treated like Joseph by my family (slandered, betrayed, abandoned, etc.), and I'm facing homelessness.

Thank you, Pastor Mark, for that teaching! Perfecting timing, God's timing. Even though I am a woman, I can relate. I am literally going through family stuff right now😢 but God gave this teaching and pastor Mark to uplift us, Amen 🙏 ✨️🙌🫶

My father is a 'weak leader'. He looked the other way while my mother took all frustrations out on me, her only daughter as a child. It was really bad. She still tries, but i finally said 'im not subjecting myself to this anymore'. Then she banned me from speaking to my dad or her. Inleft it alone. Then now she reaches out year later. Not apologizing, but acting like it never happened. Dad is still not looking for me 😢

My sister disowned me for being vocal about how I think transgenderism is wrong and harmful to people and that I even think there is a demonic component behind it. See, my sister wants to be my brother. And I guess she asked our father if I thought she needed to be saved and when my father asked me, I said well yes, I think everyone needs to be saved. We all need Jesus. And then I messaged my sister apologizing that if what I said hurt her feelings not that I was sorry for my stance because I stand with my opinion on the matter, but apologizing for if me having these opinions made her feel like I was against her which I'm not. She responded with F your apology never contact me again. And I was so taken aback by that that and surprised that I responded with sounds good (probably not the best response on my part). Its been a couple years now, and it has ruined the relationship with me and our shared brother, my father hardly talks to me. And I'm really sad about it. I wrote her a letter telling her I would always love her. And pray for them often. There's a lot of strongholds there. My step mom is a swlf professing witch. Her and my sister wear baphomet tshirts all the time. And even though I have my strong faith in Jesus. I never was unloving towards them.. i was just honest about what my opinions are. I feel like they wanted so much tolerance and acceptance for them, but had none to give me as a born again Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. And I'm heartbroken about it.

I just wanted to get that out and share it because for some reason it weighs heavy on me. Questioning if I did the right thing.

No matter what, I'll never stop loving and praying for them tho

Wish you would get rid of the intro music. I play your sermons over night while I got to sleep and all night long. When this music comes on it wakes me up.

A friend recently reminded me that the whole OT is full of sibling rivalry, children competing for scarce resources. What are the scarce resources? Answer: Love, attention, nurturing, etc.

Okay, question: if you forgive, but the person does not repent or gain trust back do you still bless them? What does that look like?

All I am seeing is God has favorites. Leah with her father Conived for her to marry into a relationship in which she wasn't wanted. Do not blame it on custom, she could have revealed herself at the marriage but she was jealous and wanted to take what her sister had. Did Jacob have favor, yes. He had watched his true beloved wife suffer with barreness while Leah thru it in her face. They were probably more precious due to the true love between them and how long they had to wait (which God could have fixed earlier but chose not to). Joseph gets sold by Leahs heathens who just go on living their heathen lives while Joseph suffers greatly. The fact that Joseph told them his dreams and their feeling were hurt is minut compared to selling someone into slavery. By the end of it Joseph gets saddled with the responsibilities of keeping them from starving and forgiving them like all the suffering was irrelevant while the only punishment that was required of them was a brief shame. Poor Joseph must have been very socially needy to allow them back in his life. Had I been Jacob the heathens would have been cast out. Then to top it all off Jesus, our savior was born from the bloodline of the heathens.
Seems God has favorites because he doesn't hold the perpetrators, Leah, her heathens sons born out of deceit accountable at all, he just wants everyone to play nice.
Guess it all comes down to what your knit for...
