Can we all appreciate Doc Schmidt getting his hair trimmed and neatly combed for that 10 seconds of interview scene. He fixed up his whole spotless business suit endemble and decided that still wasn't enough! 😍

There has to be some kind of irony in these interviews. Like people spend roughly a decade in schooling just for someone to basically say "do you wanna be a physician?" As if the interview is what makes them change their mind when they're so close to being a full fledged physician lol.

They asked me the same question for my nursing school interview (obviously substitute nurse for doctor) and I told them that there was a severe nursing shortage and you have openings in your next class, plus did you see my TEAS scores? If you don’t admit me, someone else will.

The program director told me later that she had so many “kiss-@$$ responses” that day, that my genuinely honest, blunt answer shocked her and she couldn’t resist admitting me to the program.

What's really funny is that you bend down to smell it because if the bleed is bad enough you only have to come in the room to smell the odor that would gag a maggot. Unfortunately you do have to look but it's a smell you NEVER forget. I'd like to see the nurse vs doctor concerning a big GI bleed with the doctor trying to help clean up the patient. It's usually interns that get that pleasure though. GI bleeds can be really bad that even your clothes smell after being in the room for an extended period of time. <gagging sounds> Most of my experiences are in the ICU setting though so it's a bit different than on the floor.
But, all that to say I LOVE your videos. Can't stop watching them. I'm disabled now so it helps keep me from missing it too much and remembering the good times.

We really don't give ppl like himself who not only attend many years of school and in person training what they go through that actually helps people. We should also tell ppl the medical field "thank you for your service" Much like we do in the military. Especially if they are still compassionate and kind to their patients after years of enduring bs. 🌟🌟Thank you for your service Sir🐢🐢🐢Cara

I don't know why, but him thanking the nurse after seeing and smelling the stool tickled me silly. 😂

I ended up with my degrees because I was very good at school and was too afraid to graduate.

I now test water systems and make recommendations or report concerns that get completely ignored.

Don't drink tap water.

Somehow this hit my algorithm, but you crack me up. I wish you would have been my doctor when I lived in the States, and trying to convince the doctor that dislocating my shoulder three times a day wasn't 'normal' (genetisist confirmed, vEDS and Marfan's aren't normal in the same body).
