What Was Count Dooku's Reaction To Qui Gon Jinn's Death?

Qui-Gon's death cemented Dooku's belief that the Jedi Order was going the wrong way, the Republic was beyond saving, and his choice to resign from the Order was the right one. Dooku was saddened by Qui Gon’s death because he thought it could have been so easily prevented, if the Jedi council had sent help to Qui Gon when he needed it the most. Qui-Gon was like a son to him so of course he was upset. I mean you would be crying if someone that close to you died. Although Dooku didn't show it much when he was Sidious’s apprentice, he got himself attached to his apprentice.

If you watch Star Wars: tales of the Jedi, count dooku was extremely saddened and actually quite depressed. This is because right before he died Qui-Gon had told the council about seeing darth maul and how it could possibly be the dark side. He had even told dooku and yaddle about it right before he left to go to the very planet that maul killed him on. This made dooku furious and he even confronted palpatine for letting maul kill Qui-Gon

Duku is probably my favorite Sith. He embraces the dark side, but he isn't consumed by it.
Unlike other sith, he is civil, well tempered, well collected, and reasonable.

I love how they reported that their was a sith and the council who was clearly not busy since nearly if not everyone was there in person was like yeah we will stay out you only need one master and a padawan to fight the sith. Heck they could’ve sent atleast Windu with him since he would have the advantage with Vapaad. Once again the jedis own ego led to the demise of Anakin
