Ottman's so much kick ass. In one game I built just 1 trireme. And at around the year 0 I got around 22 boats in total, conquering every coastal city. ;D One of my favourite civilizations. Though the Aztec remain on number 1 of course ^^

I hope you all know this game won a Grammy for it's soundtrack. That's really respectable.

@3choBlaster Official language of Ottoman Empire was Ottoman Turkish which itself influenced by Arabic and Persian. Moreover, many beylik's official language varied among Greek, Persian etc. Style of peotry also influenced by persians (such as divan poetry). There is significant cultural difference between Palace/state sponsored ones and Anatolians peasant's culture. Anatolian culture is also mixed central asian, armenian, greek, arabic, persian, kurdish cultures.

One time Moctezuma, Elizabeth, Catherine and Alexander made a quadruple alliance against me (Oda Nobunaga) and Suleiman and we just owned them all. Me because I had modern infantry and one airplane (plus units always fight at full strength) but Suleiman had the worlds biggest fleet and lots of musketeers. The war ended in 5 turns, true story.

Yup this is mainly inspired by Ottoman Empire Imperial War Chant. A melody over 900 years old age

@bhyesilnil5 Well I was responding to the latter half of your comment. It wasn't a political thing, I was just stating that the two cultures were in fact connected.

Songs name is "ceddin deden neslin baban" It's a military song and composed by a military band called "mehter " and known as a "mehter march".
U can find the real song by typing "mehter march" at google and click I'm feeling lucky and enjoy! :D
By the way Islam is something about Arabs NOT TURKS. We are REPUBLIC OF TURKEY not a country ruled by islam.

@famemonster1993 so at the end we both accept they are diffirent religion culture...
and basically only language of armies shows the culture of our nation...
we made many invasions but we never lost our original language and werent be asimilated..
So Seljucks also used Turkish language...
it means it is turkish empire...

@Oyrad58 famemonster is right a little bit. Seljuk rulers are turkic elites, yes. higher rank warriors were turks yes. But ruling styile, wrting etc were all persian. And turks didnt keep all traditions, actually they left many traditions in cental asia. In Anatolia elites were speak persian and turkish, ordiary people speak greek dialects. So they were turks but under influence of persian culture. Turks were carriers of cultures like this.
