Some hints for people who want to hear this music for as long as possible:
1) Even if he is a warmonger, he has the highest loyalty among civs and tends to have a strong military, so befriend him early if all you want is a reliable ally and the rest of the world doesn't matter.
2) Scout out his surroundings. If you are the only player he can reach, don't bother trying to befriend him. He is bound to aggressively expand and conquer whatever gets in his way. Just put all your resources into war preparations and take him out early.
3) Don't over-expand. Shaka hates people who grab his lands.
4) Connect your surplus luxuries asap and give them to Shaka. Send him a trade route as early as possible.
5) Either be a warmonger or be an isolationist. You won't get along with Shaka, if you try to buddy up with the whole world. If you want to be buddies with the rest of the world, maybe a "grand coalition" strategy with Shaka as the boogeyman will work better.
6) Bribe him to attack another player or get him to do a joint declaration of war. If that player isn't all that popular with the rest of the world, denounce him for bonus points with Shaka.
7) There isn't a lot you can do wrong with Shaka as a friend. Feel free to grab any number of wonders and befriend any city states. One of the perks of an alliance with Shaka is that he only cares about military, conquest and expansion.
8) Even if he has a differing ideology, not all is lost. His loyalty rating is so high, even that will not be enough to bring him to backstab you, if relations were fine before. Just monitor the situation, as he will get really frosty towards you. If he ever flips to hostile or outright denounces you, prepare for war.
