• Puppy had eaten before we left, so he wasn't hungry
• This was a temporary living situation. He gets along great with Lizzy (the dog) but has never shown signs of being particularly attached to her.
• His temperament in general is very friendly and social, and apparently his breed does tend to get very attached to their fur-parent/parents
• So many of you have mentioned how your kitties strongly reacted to hearing Puppy's cries while watching this video... Amazing and so heartwarming 🧡

I've heard my cat do this when she thought I wasn't home. It is heartbreaking. Then I called her and she came running...then ignored me 😁

He's actually yowling, it's how cats try to find one another. He was trying to get you to come home.

My kitty is 5, and sometimes when it's really quiet in the house, she'll start crying sort of like the cat in the video. I think she thinks she's alone in the house. I'll just call her name, and she comes over and wants to get petted. A few weeks ago, I woke up suddenly and when I tried to walk, I fell (I'm on some really potent sleeping meds for my insomnia). Nina (my kitty) came over to me and let out a horrific cry until my Husband came into the room to help me. Just like dogs, cats love their humans and are very loyal to us

That meow means that he's crying, thats the sound that cats do when they are sad or scared

My cats always greet me when I come home, all three waiting at the door. One plops on her back rolling over, one on the table by my door to peek her head first, and my new kitten waiting on the door mat. Nearly 100% of the time I put my things down and take that moment to hug and kiss each one by name to let them know I missed them too :) They are more than pets, they are family. Show the love.
