Maybe it wasn't a good idea to fire all those "heroes" who already caught covid.

Hospital created this crisis by demanding mandate. Doctors and Nurses worked tirelessly during pandemic when no vaccine was available. They should be allowed to work vaccinated or not. You can train new nurses now but they lack the experience that takes years to acquire.

I’m a nurse and none of my coworkers are worried about dying from Covid. The nurses are leaving due to vaccine mandates and lack of help on the floor. The hospital that I work at had to postpone the booster mandate because many are not getting it and they cant afford to lose another nurse. The nurse that they interviewed is full of crap.

Travel nurses are making a "killing" and some are not even vaccinated. Yet our own local healthcare workers were put through hell and forced out because of stupid mandates. Karma is a bitch.

Maybe pay them better, treat them better, give them mental days, give them proper equipment to stay safe, stop pushing them to leave the field because of greed and bull shit.
Hospitals and all medical places are purposely under staffing. It’s full on greed.

Just enforce more mandates. That should solve the problem.

Let's see what these students think when they have 7 sick patients and being told you have an admission coming. I've seen so many smiling face from new nurses and the light slowly dimming day by day in their eyes.

It's almost like firing all the unvaccinated workers, and closing down any daycare with an exposure, and making it hard for parents to go to work, caused some sort of weird shortage of healthcare workers ?

Just pay the nurses more. Or exempt them from taxes

No offense to hard working nurses that hanged on , but some nurses that I worked with quitted their jobs as soon as the pandemic hits in early 2020. That’s like fire fighters refuse to fight camp fires when they chose the careers and well aware of the associated risk. So it’s okay to make 150k+ when things are normal and all of a sudden it’s too much to handle?
