I purchased your budget book to help my daughter learn to budget. It is so well set up and has been just great. You are doing so well. My husband died when my daughters were 13 and I bought them up. Budgeting has been vital. It is empowering. Have a great holiday. Yiu absolutely deserve it!

My favourite souvenir from when I went to Disneyland as a child is my autograph book. You don’t need anything fancy, but getting to meet the characters is just delightful.

Have an amazing time at disney! Its just so magical, i finally got to take my daughter to disney in 2022 as a single parent also after years of saving, i got away with only spending 70 euros while there, ( food was pre paid for) ( my daughter also had 120 euros of her own from grandparents ect to spend which helped) little savings hacks i found were i brought a new (for us) fancy princess dress from vinted costing only £8 but she didnt get it until we were there so it was new for her, my daughter was in love with it to walk around in as they were 90 euros there!!! And i got a disney bubble wand from asda for £7 they were 20 euros there, and they are great for que bordoms too. And i took our own snacks, and brought some minnie mouse ears from etsy too, primark are good for disney clothes too all pre kitted out without disney prices 👍

Can you use a particular garage to fill up on petrol where you get pints or money off petrol? Sainsbury’s springs to mind. I sometimes get a money off petrol voucher from the tills? You can also check where the cheapest petrol station is, nearest to you. Maybe a few times a month enjoy activities in your local area at the weekend rather than spend more money on petrol. As for Disney, have an amazing time when you go…it is really lovely but stupidly expensive, maybe tell the children they can pick out their favourite thing from the shops (looking for their favourite thing over the days you are there) and can then buy it on the last day, as a souvenir and for the journey home…set a limit and make it like a game

Is there anyone at work close by you can car share with? And split the cost of getting to and from 😊
