The best thing about terms from almost any era except your own is to understand them, but don't try to use them. It just dates you and makes you look like you're trying to hard.

I gotta tell ya, most of these were spot on except a couple...
“Woke” means alert to injustices in society, especially racism.

“I’m dead” is basically used in lieu of “laughing out loud” or “rolling on the floor laughing.” It’s like a state of shock, hysterical laughter or sometimes just plain disbelief.

Oh wow! Someone called me that the other day but I thought it was a dig! I guess I wasn't woke yet to any of these terms! Next thing you know we're going to see a new dictionary and I'll have to go back to school!!

I think what's going on here is to have a lingo the millennials can speak to each other that us "older" folks won't be able to understand! But now we have intel to educate us! Just a thought...😂

I never use anyone of these & to be honest I get so irritated when I hear people use these words to me I keep telling them talk proper English lol 😂😂 I am 35 & I dont say this stuff lol
