Thank you BCA for starting cold cars nice and sensible. Wouldn't want to rev the balls off a cold engine.

I can hear Matt from High Peak Autos muttering 'what an absolute lemon' at that Citroen Xsara Picasso.

Kudos to you and Sophie for showing us the bad buys.
I'm not brave enough to buy cars as old as that at auction. Especially not an online auction.

I’d be changing password and baring the missis from using the computer😂 I’d scrap the lot and start again never mind chuckling more money at them.

I watch a lot of these car sites and yours is becoming my favorite. I particularly like your dry ironic/sarcastic comments. Excellent interesting engaging content. All the best.

Great video Joe! I reckon Sophie needs to watch some of your auction videos for guidance! 😆
Jeez @ the state of those cars though!
Keep up the good work - hopefully the DS3 engine rebuild gets filmed 😁

That mini you paid £150 for, is better than all them cars put together!

I bought our youngest a 52 1.2 Polo as his first car about 3yrs ago for £400 - it was ok, a bit gutless but that’s no bad thing for a new driver! It did him for a few years but had to go to scrappy in end as costs to get through MOT we’re prohibitive

Hi Joe, presumably you only let Sophie buy these 3 cars just for content on your channel. I doubt a few hundred quid will break you, but sorting them out a bit will be interesting to watch. Keep up the great work, and don't forget about taking your shirt off one hot day!

I would take a loss on the picasso and scrap it, you'll get nothing but comebacks on it

I couldn't buy from an auction after I see what rubbish we send there. I work in rental cars and the ones sent to auction are purchased off the leasing company as they would cost too much to return in repairs. Most cars that come off rental are really good. But we have had cars with clutch issues, overheating and worse with as little as 20k on them.

This unfortunately is the type of car going through at the moment, they are in the auctions for one reason, they are unsaleable elsewhere and cost a fortune to fix

My wife drives a 2002 Polo 9N - it’s battered and used as a van most of the time, but is still going strong at 122, 000 miles, and is actually quite fun to drive. Cheap to run too!

Loving the Nike tick on the Citroen's driver's door mirror glass 🤣

The Mot History on the Citroen tells a sorry tale. 2 tests in the same month but the failures & advisories were for different items. That Mot history is a big help in sorting out ok old cars from total scrap ! At this end of the trade you are buying money pits. Great helpful video for old car buyers but not good for profits. Enjoyed watching as usual, Great Channel !

Picasso I’d just £495 and sell as is having spent a couple of hours cleaning.
Polo put a clutch
Ibiza throw away

Not really her fault BCA old stuff is usually end of life really

Id actually like to see that Picasso saved, maybe an ebay matching colour rear bumper and those sills painted then a damn good valet. Oh I bought a Topdon because of your recommendations previously, brilliant bit of kit.
