Does executive privilege cover criminal activities that are conducted for a president using a lawyer acting criminally? Here's a clue, executive privilege doesn't cover criminal activities, nor does it cover ex-presidents trying to exert it.

We are living in the United States of America in the 21st Century, there are more voters registered as Independents than as Democrats, there are more voters registered as Democrats than as Republicans.
2016, Republicans lost by just under 3 Million.
2018, Republicans lost by just over 10 Million.
2020, Republicans lost by just over 7 Million.
Republicans lost the House of Representatives after 8 consecutive years in 2018.
Republicans lost the Senate after 8 consecutive years and the White House after 4, care of Mitch McConnell and FORMER President Donald J Trump.

The Citizens of the United States of America threw the Republicans out of total control of 2 of the 3 branches of the Government of the United States in just 2 years.
