this was actually a problem in destiny 2 a while back where people were using swords and other 3rd person camera options in the game

One of my friends has a 3rd person camera in real life. Because that's the only reason I can give for him dodging my every throw in dodgeball.

Fun fact mw2019 has a 3rd person bug that looks to good to be bugged, what you do is (in survival) have a teammate go down, finish the round and when the teammate stands up quickly attempt to revive him, they should be able to move and so should you, try to back up and let the animation finish, and boom 3rd person. On top of that when you ads and press shift or whatever it is on console it moves from side to side. Pretty cool bug

You can literally see what's going on without giving away your position yourself. This is the main reason third person does not work in a tactical shooter.
