This is what a repair video should be. Clear & concise. Well done.

first, I would not use a rebuilt pump which is generally all auto zones sell. I only use brand new ones

Glad I found this video earlier today.   I found out the hard way that you can't splice this hose.   :/   What a mess.  Well, that's one way to learn.  When I heard you say '1500 lbs of pressure', I realized that there was no way splicing would work no matter how well it was clamped.   Got my proper part and I'm all set to go in the morning.  Thanks Scotty!

getting those lines off can be a cow. I use crow foot wrenches, and if that doesn't work, I cut em off with a hacksaw then a socket and wrench easily fits on, you're throwing the old hose away anyway

Whoa thanks so much for this! I was really struggling with the bottom bolt and thought I wouldn't be able to fix it, but then you cleverly suggested taking off the wheel. So much easier! Thanks again!

It's often very hard to align those bolts, period. sometimes takes me hours, just the nature of the beast. Good Luck

You have been pivotal for my DIY journey since you started your channel. I went from a nurse that relied on someone else to do the work to being self sufficient. You have a patreon or something that I can contribute to? It's the least I can do for the thousands you saved me by not only doing everything myself, but by doing it right the first time EVERY SINGLE TIME

I've had really good luck with AT 205 reseal for small leaks on those. But do put UV leak dye into the system, often the seals go bad on the stupid reservoirs where they snap in, check that first.

just keep watching the ads, I get paid a nickel every time someone watches the ad. that keeps me happy. But, same process replacing the hose, it can be hard to get it off the pump but if you use a cheater bar and a long extension with socket, it will come loose

I drove my car today to my local auto repair, I didn't realize there was a leak until my car's steering wheel got stiffer and harder to turn.the good thing that I drove the car to the auto repair before the power steering system completely breaksdown.Thank You for this video Scotty.
